About Us

Our Leadership

Meet the team behind Ubuntu Capital's mission to fund high-impact African projects and back the continent's most promising founders.

Sammuel Kitone

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Sammuel Kitone is a British-Ugandan entrepreneur with over two decades of experience building and operating businesses across the United Kingdom and East Africa. He is the founder and owner of 24/7 Security Group, an integrated security services company operating in the UK, Uganda, and Rwanda since 2004. Under his leadership, 24/7 Security Group grew into a multi-country operation serving commercial and institutional clients across three markets.

Beyond his business interests, Sammuel is an active real estate investor and a recognised leader within the UK's Ugandan diaspora community, where he has played a sustained role in community development, mentorship, and cross-border economic advocacy.

As Chairman and CEO of Ubuntu Capital, Sammuel brings the operational credibility of someone who has built successful businesses in African markets — not from a distance, but on the ground. His leadership is rooted in the conviction that African development must be led by Africans with real commercial experience and genuine local presence.

Isaac Ntegeka

Chief Investment Officer & Financial Analyst

Isaac Ntegeka is an economist, software developer, and financial analyst who leads Ubuntu Capital's investment analysis and deal origination. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of East London and brings a distinctive combination of quantitative analytical skills and technology capability to the firm's work.

Isaac is the founder of Chunguza Travel, East Africa's first online travel platform, which has served over 5,000 users since its launch in 2023 and demonstrated his ability to build technology products for African markets from the ground up.

At Ubuntu Capital, Isaac is responsible for overseeing the financial modelling, project analysis, capital structuring, and the development of internal analytical tools that give the firm a technological edge in originating and structuring deals. His dual background in economics and software development allows Ubuntu Capital to deliver work that is both financially rigorous and operationally efficient — building bespoke models, automating diligence, and producing investment cases at a speed and quality that distinguishes the firm from traditional investment houses.
